The famous Egg Chair was originally designed by Arne Jacobsen in 1958 to be used in the design of the Radisson SAS Royal Hotel, Room 606 in Copenhagen. The shell has an adjustable tilt which can be adjusted to the weight of the individual user. The base consists of a satin-polished tube, welded steel tube and a 4-star base in injection molded aluminium. It features a high curved back, rounded bottom, and a steel frame combine that makes it a good choice in large, open areas. The surface is very comfortable, the high back, and a feature that allows it to return to the easy position and eggs – with or without ottoman – ideal for lounge, lobby, waiting room and the house. This organically shaped chair has since become synonymous with Danish furniture design throughout the world. Due to the unique shape, Jacobsen’s Egg chair guarantees a unique and a bit of privacy in other public spaces.

I completely agree with your post. You have pictures of two of the big and tall chairs that we sell. They are made by a company called ERA Products. Very heavy duty, comfortable and dependable as well!
